CEDIA UK Expo 2006

Home automation software pioneers, iDomus, have just launched a brand new Harmony Media Center Extension allowing you to integrate your home control system with Windows XP Media Center.

Expanding the existing capabilities of the leading Harmony Home Automation Server software, the Harmony Media Center Extension now gives complete control over heating, lighting, security, CCTV and automated curtains and blinds. The enhanced product also incorporates in-built CCTV, IP camera and webcam/video source support.

The Harmony Media Center Extension has the ability to run on a different PC to Harmony Home Automation Server and now works with Media Center extenders. It is also resolution independent supporting hi-definition TVs. Sporting a fresh design interface, the graphics have been updated to adhere closely with the design specification of Microsoft Windows Media Center. A choice of skins is available and the ability to run scenes as well as execute macros is now also supported.

Harmony Media Center Extension is the most comprehensive product of its kind and is supported by all leading European equipment manufacturers including: Rako, Opus, Somfy, Silent Gliss, Domia Pro, Zwave, Zigbee, EIB, Konnex, Domia X10 and Modbus.

Harmony Media Center Extension is available from all good software retailers and authorised distributors.
