COMPUTERLINKS debuts at CEDIA Expo (16/6/2006)

Stand G2, CEDIA UK Expo 2006

COMPUTERLINKS, formerly known as Unipalm, will be exhibiting for the first time this year at CEDIA Expo, the only dedicated trade event for Europe's fast-growing home technology, automation and integration sector being held at ExCeL London from 20th to 22nd June 2006.

Visitors to the COMPUTERLINKS stand (G2) will see various new technologies combined to demonstrate a smart home environment, which includes the following:

- Home automation software from ConvergeX designed to be used with the Microsoft Media Center
- Home theatre PCs from Clever Technologies
- Retro-fittable lighting control from RAKO
- Lighting and appliance control from Z-WAVE
- Display equipment from Mirror Media

"Our multi-media division gives the custom installer channel the tools to bring best-of-breed multi-media automation solutions to the market," explains John Turner, Head of Multi-media Networking at COMPUTERLINKS. "CEDIA Expo presents us with a good way to introduce the channel to some of our partners and their technologies. As newcomers to the show, we'll be interested in meeting with new partners across the UK as we demonstrate a Media Center driven home automation solution that fills the gap between the DIY enthusiast and custom-made systems for the million pound home."

Visitors to the COMPUTERLINKS stand will have the opportunity to speak with key staff (including John Turner) about the latest news and products from vendor partners, as well as seeing demonstrations of the above technologies.
