New Tantra Subwoofers Dramatically Enhance SpeakerCraft's Bass Offering (9/6/2006)

Stand C4, CEDIA UK Expo 2006

SpeakerCraft, America's original manufacturer of in-wall speakers announces a new series of premium subwoofers under the Tantra name, designed to complement SpeakerCraft's versatile and expanding range of in-room speakers.

The Tantra subwoofer series comprises two models, elegantly finished in birch or black lacquer, and robustly braced for high performance. The TS12 features a 12" aluminium cone woofer and 500 Watts (rms) of power. The TS10 features a 10" aluminium cone woofer and 250 Watts (rms) of power.

Standard features include a hand-held remote that allows the adjustment of volume, EQ, phase, power and muting to be achieved from the listening position. All adjustments can also be made using the subwoofers' front panel controls. This comprehensive range of system calibration tools will allow the subwoofers to seamlessly underpin film sound and music with deep, controlled, high quality bass.

"The success of our existing subwoofers has shown that our customers take SpeakerCraft seriously when it comes to subwoofers", stated Jeremy Burkhardt, SpeakerCraft's President. "We expect that our dealers will be even more impressed with the Tantra designs."

The new Tantra line includes in-wall, on-wall and subwoofer models.
