Sonos Digital Music System on display at CEDIA Expo (30/5/2006)

Stand B7, CEDIA UK Expo 2006

The Sonos(tm) Digital Music System lets you play all your digital music, all over your house - from the bedroom to the backyard - and control it all from the palm of your hand. It's the only multi-room digital music system of its kind and it's going to change the way you listen to music at home. All you need is a Sonos(tm) ZonePlayer and speakers in the rooms of your choice and a wireless, full-colour Sonos Controller in hand to access all your digital music, no matter where it's stored. It's like having a giant jukebox of music at your fingertips.

The SonosT ZonePlayer ZP80 allows music lovers to play all their digital music, all over their house, on all of their favourite audio equipment - a home theatre system, powered speakers, a premium table top radio such as a Bose WaveR Radio, and more.

By connecting a ZP80 to any amplified audio device via the analog or digital outputs, that device instantly and seamlessly becomes part of a wireless, multi-room digital music system. This provides the consumer with the power to use the full-colour SonosT Controller to control all of their music, in all of their rooms, all from the palm of their hand.

The ZP80 can also be used to retrofit a conventional multi-room audio system with home-run speakers or as a wireless extender to increase the wireless range of SonosnetT, the peer-to-peer wireless mesh network created by Sonos.

As with the SonosT ZonePlayer ZP100, the ZP80 includes auto-sensing line-in connectors that can digitally encode any line-in source. This provides Sonos users with the ability to connect an external audio source, such as an Apple iPodR, a CD player or satellite radio, to the Sonos Digital Music System and to listen to that source throughout their home.

Come and see the Sonos Digital Music System for yourself on Stand B7.
