Parks Associates and CEA Announce CONNECTIONS Europe:
Strategies for Digital Living Markets (24/5/2006)
Parks Associates and the Consumer Electronics
Association (CEA(R)) announce CONNECTIONS(TM) Europe as an expansion
to the highly successful CONNECTIONS(TM): The Digital Home Conference
and Showcase, now in its 10th year and held each May in the United
States.
The first annual CONNECTIONS(TM) Europe:
Strategies for Digital Living Markets will be held November 14-16,
2006, at the Adlon Kempinski in Berlin, Germany. Current anchor
sponsors for the event are Siemens, Deutsche Telecom, and Z-Wave
by Zensys.
CONNECTIONS(TM) Europe is an executive conference
and showcase for strategic and marketing executives from the industries
marketing digital innovations to consumers in Europe, including
entertainment, telecommunications, controls, energy, and computing.
The event will bring together market leaders from global companies
for the purpose of increasing understanding across industries regarding
the opportunities and challenges for digital products and services.
"We are proud to expand our CONNECTIONS(TM)
partnership with Parks Associates to Europe," said Gary Shapiro,
President and CEO of CEA. "This event will focus on the unique needs,
strengths, and opportunities of Europe, but we can enhance the conference
with a global perspective, research, experience and insights. CONNECTIONS(TM)
works because it gets the right people together connecting with
concepts, ideas, and each other. This is an opportune time for the
networked home marketplace throughout the developed world, and CONNECTIONS(TM)
provides a venue for the movers and shakers to learn, meet, and
establish the relationships that spur a rapidly growing marketplace."
"Several companies requested that we develop
a CONNECTIONS(TM) Europe with European consumers as our market focus
and a format that reflects European information and networking desires,"
said Tricia Parks, CEO of Parks Associates. "It is now time for
this; we are honored to have CEA as our partner and really pleased
to announce three European anchor sponsors -- Siemens, Deutsche
Telecom, and Z-Wave by Zensys."
