Asheridge Cable Testing, Home Networking, and HDTV
Equipment Takes Centre Stage (17/5/2006)
Stand A1, CEDIA UK Expo 2006
Asheridge Communications, the specialist
provider of audio visual, testing, home networking, and interconnection
solutions will be at the CEDIA Expo, on stand A1. Asheridge will
be launching the ZÕN multi room audio solutions, and showcasing
the new Fluke Cable IQ(tm) residential cable tester. Also on display
is the Rhino Pro 3000 label maker designed for custom installers,
the Eye Q plasma friendly infrared system, as well as the range
of high-definition television (HDTV) distribution amps, splitters
and fibre optic cables that Asheridge offers. Visitors to the stand
will also get the chance to win an iPod Nano, every day.
Quick and easy to install, and featuring
significantly less cabling than other systems, ZÕN multi room audio
solutions save the custom installer hours on the job. In addition
to this, the software is intuitive and requires very little training.
The ZÕN Audio Amplifier/Controller (ZAC-60) features a 60-Watt all-digital
amplifier and an onboard DSP. Also featured on the stand is the
ZÕN Input Module (ZIM-4) which simplifies audio source connection
to the distributed audio system, and the ZÕN Router (ZR-98) which
neatly organizes the head-end functions of the distributed audio
system.
Asheridge is launching the Rhino Pro 3000
labelling system from Dymo at CEDIA Expo 2006. This fast, intuitive
labelling tool for professional installers of residential computer,
audio, video, security, and HVAC systems is provided in a rugged
carry case. Its 'hot keys' provide fast, automatic label formatting
for wire/cable wraps, flag labels and distribution panels, as well
as identifying frequently used locations in the residence. The Rhino
Pro 3000 uses flexible nylon or heat shrink tube labels for wire
and cable marking, permanent polyester for a variety of flat and
textured surfaces, and metallic permanent polyester for asset tagging
and other general identification applications.
The CableIQ(tm) Residential Qualifier from
Fluke Networks is the first cable qualification tester designed
to meet the specific needs of the UK custom installer and replace
the need for multiple testing products. With this easily portable
innovation, installers can quickly verify and document data, phone,
VoIP, CATV, security, and audio cabling, so improving fault-finding,
dramatically reducing call-backs and helping to build a reputation
for high quality, reliable service.
Asheridge also features its Hellermann Tyton
'Home Network Sciences' solution for quick and easy system integration.
The system provides a full networking infrastructure to support
home communications and entertainment equipment. Further details
and product demonstrations are available on Stand A1. It allows
multimedia content to be delivered to any room in a property. The
system is modular with provision for Telephony, Data, TV, CCTV and
Audio Solutions.
Visitors to the Stand can also see the connectors
and cables which make up Asheridge's Sidewinder no-solder A/V cabling
solution. Only Asheridge offers the full 'connectorisation' solution
for ease of specification and installation, with male and female
versions of F type, RCA/Phono, MCX, and BNC connectors. Cable types
on show include CAT5E, coaxial, A1 16/2 and 16/4, and CT100 foam
filled examples.
