DKT Offers AV and EIB Training at CEDIA Expo (17/5/2006)

DKT is running AV and EIB training programming sessions throughout Cedia, training times will be 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm on each of the three days respectively. Each session will be 45 minutes long and it is advisable to book online in advance. The sessions are free with a maximum of four people attending each one. This is intended to ensure there is a one to one feel and deeply technical questions can be answered with active demonstrations.

Training will primarily involve using Freeway Macros to control products over the Ethernet, Infrared, RS232 and EIB. All courses will be relevant to first time installers, EIB Project Engineers and System Specifiers.

The EIB module in the DKT Freeway AV system controller is the latest upgrade to the Freeway Toolkit. This opens the door to EIB system designers to allow full custom integration. The toolset includes the new hardware module and the FreewayÕs unique ÔEvent MatrixÕ. This means that the full capability of the Freeway to control AV systems over the internet, via RS232, RS422 and RS485 ports, Infrared and logic inputs is now available to the EIB integrator and vice versa.
