From the company's powerful HomeWorks system to the latest in sophisticated electronic drive technology for roller blinds, Lutron will be showing visitors the world's that can be created by controlling light in domestic and commercial settings.

Since it's founding over 40 years ago, Lutron Electronics Co. Inc., has emerged as the world leader in residential and commercial lighting control. From the invention and patenting of the first commercial electronic solid-state dimmer (1961), one of the most important milestones in the evolution of lighting control, Lutron now provides more than 11,000 products worldwide. In addition, Lutron combines its highly successful product innovation with 24-hour worldwide customer support and rapid response field service teams.

From simple dimmers that control the lights in one room, to comprehensive architectural systems that control every lighting circuit throughout large facilities and building campuses, experience Lutron's world between on and off.

Lutron will be showcasing on-stand HomeWorks, GRAFIK 3000 series, LCP 128 and consumer dimming ranges at Cedia, alongside Sivoia QED, a sophisticated electronic drive for controlling roller blinds.

HomeWorks

The HomeWorks Lighting Control System provides convenient, reliable operation of lighting and other home electronics from keypads throughout the home. The advanced lighting control system's enhanced capabilities bring unprecedented flexibility, power and versatility to home lighting control and streamline interactive connections with other home systems.

GRAFIK 3000 Family

With Lutron's GRAFIK Eye and GRAFIK Integrale lighting control systems, lighting scenes for common activities can be programmed and retrieved at the touch of a button. With easy integration to touchscreens and other AV equipment and accessories that allow one-touch control from any location, Lutron's GRAFIK series offers the ultimate in lighting control versatility. Grafik Integrale is the first system to offer control capability for virtually all modern load sources, with dimming, preset scene selection and programming all available from one unit.

Sivoia QED

Lutron's Sivoia QED technology offers users complete control of natural light for both residential and commercial applications. Sivoia QED is the ultimate in motorised roller blind technology, providing elegance, convenience and versatility. The innovative design features a near silent electronic drive (44 dBA at three feet), minimal light gaps around the roller blind, simple installation, and a flexible design that can work in virtually any installation. Sivoia QED has the added advantage of fitting into headboxes as small as 89mm x 89mm and has a sleek roller tube that's just 41mm in diameter.

LCP 128

Lutron's LCP128 self-contained lighting control system is quick to install and incorporates the control of all lighting circuits, switched and dimmed, interior and exterior, into one simple operating system. Ideal for use in commercial applications such as restaurants and retail areas, where disruption of business needs to be kept to a minimum, the LCP128 can be installed and programmed on-site by an electrical engineer.

Consumer Dimming Range

There are five products in Lutron's new consumer dimming range, including Lyneo, Lutron's basic slide dimmer and Solina a discrete floor and table lamp dimmer which can fade lamps on and off with a simple tap - while memorising the last light level set. The range also includes Rania and Rania IR, which are multi-location dimmers that are both operated by the touch of a button and when switched back on, the dimmer memorises the last lighting level chosen. Universal dimming options are also available on the Rania range that auto-sense the load type - both low voltage and incandescent sources.

Andrew Bechgaard, European communications director, comments: "Cedia provides the perfect platform for Lutron to demonstrate its product innovation and scalability. From a basic slide dimmer, to a state-of-the-art stadium lighting control system, Lutron continues to offer the ultimate in lighting control products and packages".
