Projecta Launches Easy Install Projection Screens Taking the Pain out of Installation (27/4/2006)

It is the latest innovation of Projecta, European leader in development, manufacture and sales of both professional and home cinema projection screens. With Easy Install, Projecta's projection screens are now easier to install than ever before. The variable hanging system results in major savings in resources and time, by reducing the need for skilled labour. Easy Install lowers installation costs substantially.

Minimum effort

Thanks to plug & play installation, Easy Install makes installing a projection screen easier for installers and consumers alike. The flexible mounting system offers optimum ease of installation and requires only a minimum amount of effort. The principle is simple: two brackets are mounted to the wall or ceiling. Once this is done, the screen - large or small - can be slid into the brackets and secured with screws.

No more fixed drilling measurements

With Easy Install, fixed drilling measurements have become a thing of the past. The mounting brackets may be mounted anywhere within 50 cm of the sides of the screen. After hanging, corrections to the left of right can be easily made, ensuring that the screen hangs perfectly. Thanks to the plug & play accessories, the screen is ready to be used as soon as the plug is connected to the screen. Unsightly wiring is neatly hidden in the end caps. The mounting system may be combined with the standard Projecta solutions for installation under / above false ceilings or at a distance from the wall using wall brackets.

For every situation

The majority of Projecta projection screens now available with Easy Install. All screens with a square 115 mm case, Elpro (RF) Electrol, Cinelpro (RF) Electrol, and Hapro Manual, come equipped with the new Easy Install mounting system. Moreover, accessories such as plug & play cables, RF and IR remote controls, and wired and wireless projector coupling sets make Easy Install eliminate the need for an electrician.
