Kramer Announces New 7-Year Warranty (15/4/2006)

Kramer Kicks off its 25th Anniversary with a Strong Reliability Statement

elebrating their 25th Anniversary in 2006, Kramer Electronics, Ltd., an ISO 9001 : 2000 certified company, and a worldwide supplier of audio, video and computer graphics signal distribution, switching and processing equipment, is pleased to announce the implementation of a new 7-year warranty program covering its entire product line, for all products sold from 1st January 2006.

"This 7-year warranty is a very loud and bold statement of the confidence we have in our products," stated Dr. Joseph Kramer, managing director of Kramer Electronics, Ltd. "We know how reliable our products are and we have the data to prove it, so improving our warranty program from three years to seven years, is the best way to express the exceptionally high level of confidence we have in our products to the world."

Kramer's new 7-year Return to Base warranty will cover the initial purchaser of any Kramer product against defects in materials and workmanship. This new Kramer warranty now matches the existing 7-year warranty offered by Kramer on all Sierra Video Systems (SVS) routers.

"We now have more than 600 Kramer products in our line as of today, not including our vast cable offerings," states David Jayes, vice president of research and development for Kramer Electronics, Ltd. "From our smallest Kramer Tool(tm), to our largest matrix switcher, and including our extremely popular line of ProScale(tm) digital scaler/switchers, this 7-year warranty will apply to every one of our products. We are just that confident in our entire product line."

In 2006, Kramer will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary and announcing this improved warranty program is just the beginning of a number of unique programs and promotions that will be introduced to coincide with this special occasion.

To support the 7-year warranty initiative, the company has designed a logo for the program and will be updating all of their user manuals and marketing materials in the coming months to reflect the new warranty.
