Development and Evaluation Kits for MoCA Standard Now Available From Entropic Communications (5/4/2006)

c.LINK(TM) software development and evaluation kits (SDK/EVK) with MoCA certified software are now available from Entropic Communications, Inc. These complete and comprehensive kits provide the technical guidance and documentation for consumer electronic manufacturers developing products for home networking of digital entertainment.

"The MoCA SDK and EVK accelerates the design, development and ultimately deployment of products for entertainment distribution throughout the home that meet the standard," said John Graham, Entropic's vice president of marketing.

The MoCA SDK and EVK provide access to programming tools, hardware reference design materials and all necessary documentation via an application program interface (API). MoCA-based technology and the standard is available for a variety of consumer electronics including, but not limited to, set-top boxes (STB), digital video recorders (DVRs), home gateways and routers, and displays such as digital TV.

In addition, SDK and EVK customers are supported via a secure client website which can be accessed through an easy-to-use web interface that contains downloadable versions of MoCA SDK and EVK documentation to aid in product development and technical support and includes automatic notifications when new information is added or updated.
