D-Tools, Inc., the worldwide leader in system
integration software, today announced the 4th annual D-Tools Design
Awards call for entries. The 2006 D-Tools Design Awards showcase
the best residential and commercial system integration projects
created with D-Toolsâ award-winning System Integratorú software.
Winners will be announced at CEDIA EXPO in September.
Outstanding projects will be selected from
the following categories for this year's Design Awards: Best Residential
System, Best Commercial System, Most Unique System (residential
or commercial), and Best Overall System.
Winners will be selected by the D-Tools development
team and D-Tools Certified Partners. The winning entries will be
judged on a number of criteria, including originality, most thorough
use of D-Toolsâ software functionality, overall visual quality of
designs, plans, and schematics; and which projects best communicate
the system designer's vision.
Winners in each category will receive an
impressive award for display in their office and a copy of D-Tools
System Integrator 4.5 Standard - a $3,000 value - as well as prizes
supplied by D-Tools Manufacturer Vantage Point (MVP) members. All
entrants will receive recognition for their submissions with a prize
package valued at $100.
D-Tools System Integrator 4.5 enables systems
integrators and custom installation professionals to create detailed
projects managed with automated proposals, scheduling, pick lists,
purchase orders and additional documents that streamline the integrated
installation of audio and video products. By using a single, shared
project file, system integrators and installers can pull information
from a comprehensive database of tens of thousands of products,
giving them the distinct advantage of designing systems using the
most current product information, while saving hours of product
research time.
"Weâre pleased to announce the opening of
this year's Design Awards," said Adam Stone, President and CEO of
D-Tools. "Weâre very proud of the great work our customers have
created with our software, and this is a great opportunity for them
to be recognized for their achievements and showcase them at the
premiere industry event."
