New OmniMount Wishbone Series Fuses Elegant Form and Heavyweight Function (27/3/2006)

Radical, groundbreaking engineering is, by its very nature, visually spectacular. And nowhere is this more true than with OmniMount's new, state-of-the-art Wishbone flat panel cantilever wall mounts.

The clean, sculpted lines of the patent-pending OmniMount Wishbone Series, are space-age in style, as befits products employed by NASA. Finished in either two-tone platinum or black, the single and dual arm mechanisms are examples of unparalleled product design. Yet it is this outwardly elegant and graceful form that actually makes the OmniMount Wishbone Series so exceptionally robust.

The units can hold flat screens up to a backbreaking 90 kilos and a massive 63 inches, all from a discreet, low-profile component. The Wishbone cantilevers, constructed from rugged, die-cast aluminium, feature tapered bearings for a secure, smooth movement and solid steel hinge pins for maximum strength. And all this from a hugely competitive £129.99.

OmniMount's Wishbone Series is suitable for either LCD or plasma screens. It allows extension, tilt and 180¡ lateral rotation to deliver the optimum viewing angle. The mounts embrace patent-pending Lift n' Lock(tm) technology to attach your flat screen with the minimum of fuss and integrated 'stealth' cable management to remove the usual tangle of unsightly wires.

Moreover, a patent-pending adhesive 'Fast Installation Guide' allows the mount to be positioned correctly the first time and with no clean up required afterwards. An integrated Flip Lock, a proprietary security device, enables the screen to be fastened securely to the wall.

Although the explosion in flat screens has been driven by exceptional advancements in image technology, the components used to house such televisions have remained steadfastly in the Stone Age. Until now, that is, thanks to OmniMount's Wishbone Series.
