SIM2 Sets Benchmark Standard for Single-Chip Projectors with New HDTV 1080P DLP Design (1/3/2006)

Those seeking the perfect home cinema picture need look no further than SIM2's dazzling new Grand Cinema HT3000 1080p DLP(tm) projector.

Capable of displaying the ultimate High Definition signal at its native resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels progressive (1080p), the HT3000 is the ideal partner for upcoming Sky HD broadcasts and Blu-Ray and HD DVD video sources. Implementing the very latest, next generation DLP(tm) chipset from Texas Instruments, the HT3000 delivers new levels of cinematic realism for genuinely film-like images.

Reinforcing SIM2's position as the world leader in Digital Light Processing (DLP(tm)) technology the HT3000 allies the newly developed 0,95" 1080p single DMD chip to the company's proprietary ALPHA PATH(tm) light engine. Full 10-bit DSP processing is also used for the first time, offering significant picture improvement over the industry standard 8-bit technology.

Elsewhere, you'll find is a 7-segment colour wheel, along with SIM2's Live Colours Management picture control software and customizable memory functions. Completing the package is a pair of HDMI digital connections, which alongside the array of analogue inputs, makes the HT3000 compatible with every digital and analogue video source.

The HT3000 delivers excellent contrast ratio, sharp, smooth and seamless images with enhanced colours, and greater detail to dark scenes. And just as beautiful as the picture is the stunningly designed cabinet, as befits a projector with Italian pedigree.

The HT3000 projector - which completes the company's award-winning Grand Cinema HT single-chip series - will be available in April 2006.

Suggested retail price: c. £9,000.00 inc VAT.

Availability: April 2006.
