CEDIA Expo 2006 Awarded RIBA CPD Accreditation (23/2/2006)

CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) has announced that architects and interior designers attending its training and showcase event for the home technology sector, the CEDIA Expo (Expo 20-22 June 2006; Training 19-22 June 2006, ExCeL London) will earn RIBA approved CPD points.

CEDIA Expo 2006 is the only dedicated trade event for Europe's fast-growing home technology, automation and integration sector. It embraces the latest innovations and technologies in home cinema, audio-video solutions, lighting control, structured wiring, HVAC control, blind and security systems in 6,000m2 of high quality exhibition space.

CEDA Expo 2006 also features an extensive education programme focused on the design, installation and integration disciplines required to implement these technologies discreetly and effectively into a property. A key feature of this programme will be CEDIA's RIBA CPD accredited training course, "Designing Integrated Future-Ready Homes" for building specifiers.

In total CEDIA Expo 2006 will feature over 120 exhibition stands showcasing equipment from these and many other high quality brands alongside innovative feature areas and exciting visitor attractions.
