Mode Lighting Launches SceneStyle4 (14/2/2006)

The beginning of 2006 sees the launch of a ground breaking new product range from Mode Lighting. The SceneStyle concept will be unveiled at the ARC06 Exhibition in London and combines scene setting lighting control, SILENT operation and the styling of the Evolution range of control plates. Designed for the refurbishment and small projects market Scenestyle is set to bring the benefits of scene setting lighting control to a wider audience.

SceneStyle4 is a complete "one-box" solution and will fit into a standard UK double-gang sized box. Due to its unique circuitry, it does not require a neutral connection making it an ideal solution to replace existing light switches or traditional rotary dimmers. SceneStyle4 fits into a double gang sized backbox, incorporates trailing edge technology and will silently dim all types of GLS lamps, GU10 mains halogen, low voltage electronic transformers and other compatible lighting loads. Features such as automatic short circuit and overload protection, two way switching ability, a holiday mode function and an infrared remote control as standard make the Scenestyle4 unit the perfect addition to any small project. With is colour changeable indicators and a selection of plate finishes available, SceneStyle4 can be adapted to suit its environment and compliment any dˇcor.

SceneStyle has been designed to be a practical, reliable, easy to install and above all stylish addition to any project. The finely crafted SceneStyle4 is equally suitable for either residential or commercial applications and fully compliant to the relevant standards. The metal front fascias are available in four standard finishes: Brushed Stainless Steel, Polished Chrome, White and Polished Brass and with their subtle rounded corners and a slim profile reflect the high quality design and engineering that has gone into developing the range.

SceneStyle allows a homeowner to change the ambience in a room to suit its usage. Leisure Environment:-

The ever increasing demands on designers to introduce scene setting into small areas at minimal cost can now be met. Hotel bedrooms with multiple switching points can be converted to scene setting controls, even late on in the development by using SceneStyle4 with the conventional mains wiring arrangement.

Security Control: SceneStyle has an auto-run mode. After a delay time (programmable in stages up to 10 hours) the system runs through a random pattern of lighting changes to suggest occupation of the room to deter would be burglars.
