Vantage is pleased to announce the new portable touchscreen
TouchPoint 1210 (6/2/2006)
The TouchPoint family recently welcomed the
newest addition to its range : the TouchPoint 1210'. TouchPoint
1210' is running Windows XP embedded operating system.
This new touchscreen gives users complete
control of lights, audio and video, temperature and even offer Internet
capabilities, while supporting streaming media and Web browsing,
and are another control point when using the Mediapoint solution.
It is a sleek portable device with a docking
station. The Vantage TouchPoint 1210' is using the wireless home
network to control your house or more. The user can browse the internet,
send emails etcetera. With the use of the TouchPoint Design Center
software you can create in no time your customized applications
using XML technology. Screens created through the Design Center
software can be converted in seconds to the portable device. The
touchscreen TouchPoint 1210' will be available before the summer.
Vantage's TouchPoint family eliminates the
need for outdated, wall-cluttering light switches and endless stacks
of remote controls. They provide a simple, impressive way to control
your automated home, office or building.
A custom-designed touch overlay allows the
maximum amount of the LCD's light image to pass through with reduced
diffraction, making these touchscreens brighter than any competing
LCD touchscreens currently available.
