Integrated Systems Europe 2006 breaks through
the 10,000 attendance barrier, reflecting the exponential growth
of the AV Systems and Electronic Integration industry
* Attendance figure of 10,970
* 330 exhibitors from 30 countries
* 80% of this year's space has been sold already for 2007
The 3rd edition of Integrated Systems Europe
closed on a high note today (February 3rd) after three days of record-breaking
crowds, stunning visual displays and exhibitors expressing their
delight at the new business they have generated, announced the organisers
of ISE at the Brussels Expo.
With a huge rise in attendance figures, covering
every category, it reaffirmed ISE as the European meeting place
for the AV Systems and Electronic Integration industry.
This year's edition saw a remarkable surge
in numbers with almost 11,000 attendees, an increase of nearly 50%
over the 7,401 trade visitors last year. As well as a huge influx
from Europe, visitors came from all parts of the world including
the Middle East, Taiwan and USA.
Early indications from the show floor indicated
a unanimous upbeat mood among both exhibitors and Visitors. Representatives
from across the wide spectrum of exhibitors expressed their satisfaction
at the number of leads gained through end user sales and recruitment
of new dealers and distributors. ISE 2006 was seen as the best platform
by far for them to be able to showcase their wares and network with
industry professionals.
Mike Blackman, Managing Director for Integrated
Systems Europe comments: "We are delighted with the unparalleled
interest in ISE from the European industry which has been totally
driven by the unprecedented number of new product launches in the
AV, Home Cinema and media technology fields," A key aspect of the
show was the positive response from the visitors and Exhibitors
alike. A vast majority of the exhibitors were firm in the opinion
that they would definitely be coming back next year.
Enthusiastic feedback from across the show
floor
Exhibitors were delighted with the quality
and number of visitors who came to the show.
Ideally targeted at our end users - ISE is
the perfect show! Kash Achanya, E-MediaVision
ISE is where our dealer base is, perfect
platform for us to meet them all at one time. Otherwise we spend
a vast amount of time and money sending our people out to see them
- at ISE, they come to us! Benjamin Joy, Director of Product Marketing,
Clarity Visual Systems
We have met a very high level of customers
coming specifically from the AV world. Using ISE to launch our 103"
Plasma screen - the world's largest - was an inspired move as we
attracted an unbelievable amount of interest throughout the three
days. At ISE, our target audience was there. We are delighted that
it is returning to Amsterdam Christian Sokcevic, Sales and Marketing
Manager, Panasonic
ISE was great for us. We met our customers
and, more importantly, we met the people that we want as our customers.
ISE gave us the perfect platform with the right target market for
us to showcase our products, which we simply could not do anywhere
else. We will return in 2007 and will be securing more space! Paul
Detlef Lang, CEO, Lang Audiovision AG
And visitors were equally delighted with
the impressive range of exhibitors, pavilions, educational sessions
and displays which more than justified their time away from the
office.
"An extremely useful show for sourcing Commercial
and digital signage solutions, Custom Installers and new products.
At ISE everything is here all in one place, I don't have to travel
around to source new products, I can come here and spend two days
doing what could take me two months normally" Kevin Tate, Flatscreenz
Ltd
"ISE has been very useful. Not only did I
find what I was looking for, but much more besides. I have a wealth
of information to take back to my colleagues and we will definitely
return next year." Claus Bundgaard, Manager AV Centre, Bang & Olufsen
Alongside the main exhibition, throughout
the three days, there was a comprehensive and exciting conference
comprising a series of seminars, presentations, forums and workshops
delivered by various exhibiting companies and supported by the three
associations.
Plans are already well advanced to organise
the 4th edition of ISE, which will return to the RAI Exhibition
Centre, Amsterdam in 2007. Building on the success of this year's
show and the need for a central European hub to support ISE as it
continues to grow at an increasing rate, we needed a venue which
has accessibility, support and location as key factors, hence why
we are returning to Amsterdam" explained Mike Blackman.
Blackman paid tribute and expressed his thanks
to the total and unwavering support given to the show by the three
associations - CEDIA(r), NSCA(r) and InfoComm International(r) "The
success of this event is largely down to the commitment and drive
by the associations who see Europe as one of the most vibrant and
growing markets. Their support and co-operation in marketing the
show to their members was one of the key factors in the success
of ISE."
Blackman concludes: "I can only see ISE getting
bigger and better over the coming years and I look forward to working
with the associations to build on the strengths and success of this
show."
