New Cineversum CV70 ULTRA Adds to AWE's Projector Range (31/1/2006)

AWE has just added the CV70 ULTRA projector to its comprehensive Cineversum DLP and CRT range, allowing custom installers to provide customers with the ultimate in high quality, home cinema performance.

The CV70 ULTRA features Texas Instruments latest high definition DLP technology, the DarkChip3. Through the extra angle that the mirrors can achieve over standard DMD chips, this technology generates better blacks than ever before. This chip is also native high definition which, combined with the HDMI input, ensures the projector is compliant with the EICTA HD ready specification which enables users to enjoy perfect full digital video from the latest sources.

Also part of the range is the entry model CV60. This lightweight unit is ideal for smaller screens and as per the CV70 is available in two different lens versions so can be conveniently positioned in any room. The CV80 and 3 chip CV110/CV120 projectors, when coupled with one of the wide array of lens options, can be situated at the broadest range of distances from the screen making them ideal projectors in even the most demanding of applications.

"The Cineversum range is a great addition to the products exclusively available from AWE and sits alongside our other high quality brands perfectly" said Stuart Tickle, MD of AWE. "Cineversum projectors produce fantastic, detailed pictures and are extremely versatile, making them perfect for custom installations. These projectors also have a clean route to market meaning there are excellent retained margins for the authorised dealers now being signed up."

The Cineversum range of projectors is suitable for screen sizes from a width of 130cm to 330cm. Offering short, medium or long throw lenses, Cineversum projectors can be stylishly integrated into the chosen room. With a full array of analogue and digital inputs, the projectors accommodate a wide variety of sources including DVD, satellite and TV receivers, as well as the soon to arrive high definition sources.

The CV60 and CV70 are now available from AWE at new lower price points.
