Vidikron Presents CineWide True 2.35:1 Home Cinema at ISE 2006 (31/1/2006)

Stand D23, ISE 2006

Vidikron proudly announces the presentation of the company's Award-Winning CineWide(tm) technology at this year's ISE Show, February 1-3, 2006 at the Brussels Expo in Brussels, Belgium. CineWide provides uncompromised reproduction of CinemaScope(tm) widescreen movies originally filmed in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio. When a CineWide viewer transitions from 1.78:1 (16 x 9) program material to "super wide" 2.35:1, the image automatically gets wider while the constant vertical image height is maintained. The black bars commonly seen in these films disappear! Vidikron's CineWide technology options are available with Vidikron's Vision(tm) Model 90 and Vision Model 100 DLP(tm) projectors and will be on display at ISE 2006 in Booth #D23 (shared with Stewart Filmscreen), in Hall 5 of the Brussels Expo.

"The introduction of our remarkable CineWide technology has been met with overwhelming acclaim," said Jim McGall, vice-president of sales and marketing for Vidikron. "Film enthusiasts and home cinema aficionados can now enjoy all of the splendor of CinemaScope movies without any black bars that rob image resolution and fidelity."
