Stand H31, ISE 2006

Exhibition sees the launch of a new category of desktop photofinishing solution, an enhanced entry-level projector and an intelligent IP-based surveillance camera

Sony has significantly increased its support in terms of its sponsorship of, and presence at, one of Europe's major integrated technology events, Integrated Systems Europe. At the exhibition that will take place in Brussels, Belgium between the 1st and 3rd of February 2006 will see Sony, a platinum sponsor of the ISE event showcase a number of new products that comprehensively bridge the audiovisual and information technology divide.

The Sony stand (Hall 6, Stand 31) will feature a number of flagship demonstrations or 'Experiences' designed to bring to life the strength and ease of integration afforded by Sony's end-to-end audiovisual and IT product portfolio.

A showcase 'Like.No.Other'

At ISE 2006, the company will also demonstrate a range of display screens; workstations and laptops; projectors; network video monitoring and video conferencing systems that highlight the true benefits of convergence and Sony's role in driving development of Internet Protocol-based electronic devices. Among the Sony highlights will be:

* Sony SnapLab: A sneak preview of a brand new category of desktop digital photofinishing solution aimed at retailers that do not want to acquire a digital kiosk or minilab photofinishing solution.

* Sony SNC-CS50P intelligent IP-based surveillance camera: The first Sony camera that can detect motion and unattended objects across a wide variety of monitoring applications. When integrated with Sony's monitoring and management application, RealShot Manager, the Sony SNC-CS50P delivers a range of intelligent security applications.

* Sony PCS-VMS Video Management Suite: The new scheduling and management software suite for Sony videoconference systems and Radvision infrastructure products.

Ian Collis, Vice President of Sony Europe, explained why ISE is so critical to Sony: "We have a unique heritage, but we never stop thinking about how we can deliver products that are even more relevant to the needs of our channel and our end customers. At ISE, we'll show how we're leading the way in product innovation and development and we'll showcase many of our unique AV and IT offerings. We'll deliver 'Experiences - Like.No.Other'."
