Pyramat's New Sound Rocker is the Hottest Seat at
CES (17/1/2006)
New video game chair delivers personal surround
sound and rumbling bass
Pyramat LLC, the creators of the original
line of "sound furniture" for video games, movies and music, is
promising the hottest seat in the house at the 2006 International
CES in Las Vegas. Occupying South Hall Booth #21658 at the Las Vegas
Convention Center, Pyramat will launch their latest product, the
PM220 Sound Rocker, a video game chair that vibrates in time to
the action on the screen. The new Sound Rocker lets users hear and
feel all of the action from video games, movies and music.
"Our success with the original sound furniture
line was an indicator that consumers want a multi-sensory experience
when playing video games, watching movies or listening to music,"
said Michael Feldman, Pyramat's founder and president. "Today's
consumers demand the most sophisticated entertainment experiences,
and our new PM220 Sound Rocker will not disappoint them."
Using Audio Response Technology (ARX(TM)), the
Sound Rocker vibrates and pulses in time to the on-screen action.
It transfers low frequency sound through a 5.5 inch subwoofer, creating
a powerful rumbling bass that puts the player into the action. This
gives the player a sound advantage and actually improves their game
play.
Features of the Pyramat PM220 Sound Rocker
include:
* 5.5" subwoofer to deliver powerful bass
* Two side speakers and an ARX(TM) sub-woofer create a totally immersive
personal surround experience * Comfort is key. The ergonomically-designed
rocker supports hours of play * It's compatible with all game consoles,
and many electronic devices, such as a TV, VCR, DVD and MP3 player
* Input selector allows you to switch effortlessly between video
games and music modes * Create a virtual in-home arcade by connecting
up to eight units together * The controls enable personal and effortless
volume and bass control to adjust the sound experience * Folding
