Imerge to preview next generation SoundServer at ISE (9/1/2006)

Stand B05, ISE 2006

Imerge Ltd. Europe's leading innovator for hard disk based audio appliances today announces the unveiling of its next generation SoundServer, the S3000. The new server features double the processing power and dramatically improved XIVA software with a plethora of new capabilities, whilst maintaining the quality, reliability and core functionality of the current S2000mkII.

The breakthrough features of the S2000mkII, such as the clean TV GUI, blisteringly fast CD ripping and hard drive capacities up to 400GB are a firm start for developing the new platform.

The S3000 builds on this feature set, by adding the ability to back up the media to a USB 2.0 hard drive connected directly to the server, as well as control via a slick new web interface and support for the Windows Media Audio (WMA) format.

The S3000 also expands the internet functionality of the SoundServer family introducing online upgrades. Now all S3000 SoundServer customers will be able to add the latest software feature set to their Imerge SoundServer at the touch of a button.
