Liberty Introduces DigitaLinx Digital Solution Devices (4/1/2006)

Liberty Wire & Cable, a worldwide supplier of a broad range of wire and cable products for the audio/video trade, including custom installers and systems integrators, announced the introduction of its DigitaLinxTM branded line of digital solution devices.

Liberty's advanced DigitaLinx product line incorporates a variety of devices which extend and route HDMI and DVI signals in residential and commercial installations. Liberty's broad selection of easy-to-use digital solutions includes repeaters, distribution amplifiers, switchers and fiber optic extenders.

The following are some details on each of new digital devices:

Liberty's HDMI Repeater extends the length of any HDMI or DVI cable by regenerating the digital signal before it outputs to the HDMI or DVI monitor or projector. The HDMI Repeater enables you to relocate your video sources or computer to a safe, quiet and hidden location.

Liberty's HDMI Distribution Amplifier allows one digital HDMI or DVI video or computer source to be split into five HDMI displays. The built-in amplification function enables HDMI and DVI signal distribution without any signal loss or digital noise.

Liberty's HDMI Switcher allows four different digital (audio/video) sources to share one video display. Our unique switcher allows easy switching between four different digital sources using a remote control included with the unit or the manual switch in front. This device is perfect for home theater systems; no more hassles of manually plugging in different HDMI or DVI Connecters to view different video sources (e.g. DVD Player, Satellites and PC).

Liberty's unique HDMI-DVI Fiber Optical Extender system lets your digital display (Plasma TV, Digital Projectors, LCD Monitors, HDTV, etc) be located up to 330 ft. (100 meters) away from the video and audio sources based on using the HDMI or DVI standard. Our patented optical conversion technology enables noise-free and highresolution (up to UXGA or 1080p) extension up to 330 ft.
