AWE Makes it Showtime for Dealers (3/1/2006)

AWE, the top AV equipment distributor, has announced its "Showtime" initiative to sign up new dealers of its Philips Mirror TV, Beyond iCEBOX and Cineversum Projector ranges. Dealers who display any these products in their showrooms or retail outlets can take advantage of a series of benefits, including special display contribution rebates, extended credit terms and on-line promotion.

AWE's "Showtime" recognizes the importance of putting selected high quality and unique products on show to customers as part of making sales happen. It will encourage dealers to take these steps on three specific AWE product lines. In return, AWE will reduce the cost of display product via a special rebate scheme, offer extended payment terms for approved account holders on the initial order and provide a direct link to participating dealers via a "Dealer Finder" section on the AWE website. Dealers simply have to commit to displaying working models in public accessible showrooms for a 12 month period, such as demo rooms, show homes or retail displays.

"We are pleased to put forward these excellent opportunities to both existing and new dealers" says Stuart Tickle, managing director of AWE. "Our Showtime initiative will reward those dealers who support three of the key brands offered by AWE, helping them demonstrate eye-catching, high margin products to their best potential. For those who take part there's generous support on offer."
