dnp Shows Supernova Screen for Front Projection in Broad Daylight (3/1/2006)

Stand D22, ISE 2006

Introducing the dnp SupernovaTM Screen in Europe: At the ISE Show in Brussels, February 1-3 2006, dnp denmark presents the worlds first optical front projection screen that makes it possible to use front projection in bright conference rooms and home entertainment environments.

The new dnp Supernova Screen, which recently won prestigious technology awards and was honoured at both InfoComm and CES in USA, delivers an extraordinary ten times higher contrast and two times brighter images than standard front screens. This opens up vast new opportunities for display solutions in brightly-lit conference rooms, Point of Sale (POS) environments and home entertainment applications.

The standard front screen is traditionally associated with dark rooms, curtains and window blinds - often resulting in eyestrain and low audience concentration. The new Supernova Screen allows the presenter to achieve maximum effect in a brightly-lit, ergonomically designed environment. And the home cinema enthusiast is no longer restricted to the confinements of dark rooms in the basement.

The dnp Supernova Screen is available in 4:3 and 16:9 formats in sizes up to 120" - providing a greater visual experience than ant flat panel screen.

The Supernova Screen will during ISE be demonstrated at dnp booth # D22 in both conference room and living room environments. At the stand, dnp denmark will also present the transparent Holo Screen(tm) optimized for Point of Sales - as well as two high-end rear projection screens for meeting and board rooms: dnp New Wide Angle Screen(tm) and dnp Sigma Screen(tm).
