The 4306 shares many features with the highly advanced £4000 AVC-A1XV, and delivers incredible performance from a compact package. Key features include Ethernet access, iPod and MP3 connectivity, HDMI upscaling and the Audyssey MultEQª XT room correction and calibration technology that is capable of creating perfect seats for up to six listeners. The 4306 has every Denon digital technology including the very latest DSPs and codecs, everything necessary to deliver powerhouse movie and music performance with finesse and astonishing flexibility.

Co-developed by Tom Holman of THX fame and Dr Chris Kryiakakis of the University of Southern California Advanced Audio Labs and bought to market by Denon, MultEQ XT state-of-the-art Auto Set-Up and Room Correction is the ¥rst technology capable of generating a 'sweet spot' for every listener or viewer, no matter where in the room they're sitting. During Auto Set-Up MultEQ XT determines how many loudspeakers are connected, whether they are in phase, and whether they are sats or subs. It then analyses and calibrates speaker level, size, and distance and corrects for room anomolies. In addition, MultEQ XT detects the proper crossover point for the subwoofer and determines correct frequency response for up to six listener positions in a fast, simple procedure.

Support for Multiple Zones and front channel Bi-Amping - Multi Zone Output and Select can output different sources to multiple zones. Power Amp Assign can assign the 2 Surround Back amp channels (when the system is 5.1) to drive Zone 2, or 3 speakers, with 130 wpc, while still providing 5 channels to drive all speakers in a 5.1 room. In addition, front speakers can be bi-amped to improve playback quality in the front for better sound quality.
