CEDIA UK Active at ISE 2006 (16/12/2005)
ISE 2006, Stand H24
CEDIA UK, the trade association representing
the custom installation industry in the UK, the rest of Europe,
the Middle East, India and Africa, will be playing an active role
at ISE as it continues to move from strength to strength. The region's
custom installation sector is in a positive, upbeat mood, following
on-going membership growth and an overwhelmingly successful CEDIA
UK Expo in 2005, which saw attendance leap by more than 50% compared
to 2004's figures.
CEDIA UK representatives will be available
on Stand H24 for the duration of ISE to talk to visitors about the
organisation's work in the region, the benefits that membership
brings and opportunities for participation in Europe's only dedicated
residential custom installation show, the CEDIA UK Expo being held
at ExCeL London (19-22 June 2006). CEDIA UK is also involved in
the seminar programme at ISE 2006, with experienced presenters from
the Association hosting sessions including 'Wireless Networks for
the Real World', 'Using the Power of IP in the Home', 'A Glimpse
into the Future Technologies of the Industry' and 'Developing Your
Commercial Skills for the Residential Market'.
The CEDIA UK Expo 2006 will be taking place
at a new and bigger venue, ExCeL London in the heart of London's
Docklands. Held from 19 to 22 June, the high-class venue allows
for an expanded seminar programme and greater and more coherent
space for the event's exhibitors. Already over 80% of stand space
has been reserved for the CEDIA UK Expo 2006. A total of 4,714 visitors
came to the CEDIA UK Expo in June 2005 held over four concentrated
days of education and three exhibition showcase days at Birmingham's
International Convention Centre. This number of visitors included
a high proportion of overseas visitors who attended the event, 569
in total from 57 countries outside the UK.
