VITY Launches New Controllers Including VIMATY EIB LCD Colour Touch Panels (13/12/2005)

VITY TECHNOLOGY, the French home Automation manufacturer, launches new wired LCD colour touch panels range with EIB capabilities: VIMATY EIB. It means these touch panels have an EIB-KNX output that can directly connect to EIB-KNX bus to control EIB modules. All the certified EIB-KNX modules of every brand of the market (Hager, Siemens, Jung, ABB, etc.) can be control by VIMATYs to command lights, shutters, heat, and many others appliances in the house. In addition of its EIB output, VIMATYs have also infrared output to drive AV devices (DVD, VHS, Ampli, etc.) and RS 485 output to connect to VITY controllers to drive X 10, RS 232, etc. We also develop EIB card for Multicustom controller to command EIB product with Ethernet touch panels TACTUM. Many others functions are available: presence detector for backlight, IR receiver integrated, 6 shortcuts functions buttons in front of the screen, etc. The programming is simple and is made by PC2Maty software of Vity

This range of products enables the installers or the electrician to propose a solution that mixes the huge electrical capabilities of EIB-KNX systems and the AV interactivities of a design and powerful LCD touch panel. The end user can manage, with a simple touch on the screen, all the lights, the shutters, the AV devices, security products and so much. The application concerns as well residential market as corporate market where EIB is more and more present.

VIMATYs exist in 2 models (Desktop or In wall) of 2 sizes (3.5 inches and 7 inches) and 2 frame colours (White or Black/Silver). When it is not possible to integrate it in the wall, a wall mount box is available for each model.

Minimono: New low cost controller for Home Automation System

Minimono is the new and law cost controller for Home automation systems. It represented the interface between VITY LCD touch panels and the AV and automation devices to drive.

It is equipped of 2 RS 232 ports to connect devices like matrix switchers, scalers, videoprojectors, 6 infrared output for devices like DVD players, VHS, 6 relays outputs for automation system like shutters, screens, lights, and 4 GPI input to take information like temperature, and 1 X 10 port to manage X 10 devices.

This new little but powerful controller will be presented in two version: RS 485 Vity bus model (Minimono/485) and RS 485 Vity bus + Ethernet model (Minimono/IP).

This product is very interesting as well for residential market (Home theatre room) as corporate market (meeting room). The retail European price will be under 800 €.

New VITY IP touch panels: TACTUM

We will present in ISE new IP touch panels: TACTUM CE366 and TACTUM CE880

TACTUM CE366 is the 8,4 inches wireless model. Very design, it communicates to VITY controllers by WiFi to command all AV and automation products in the house or in the conference room.

TACTUM CE880 is the 8,4inches In wall model. Also very design it send and receive commands to the controller by a simple Ethernet cable.

This two models enable the user to watch video by streaming via web server and to go on Internet. They also compatible to drive Imerge sound server.
