Three new Smart-e products launched at ISE 2006 (13/12/2005)

Stand C63, ISE 2006

UK audio and video distribution and switching company, Smart-e is exhibiting at the ISE show for the second year running. The company which is well known for its purple coloured equipment is announcing the launch of three new products at the show.

NEW Managed TV & AV system

This new system allows centralised management of displays. TV screens, Projectors, TFTs, Plasmas, and all other types of displays, can be remotely monitored and controlled from one central base located anywhere in the world.

The new display management feature provides the ability to control the matrix remotely via IP which has greatly increased the flexibility of what is already a proven and successful product. The system, which can be customised to meet individual needs, enables organisations to provide local, regional, international and worldwide support for its staff and/or customers from one control room via a standard IP-based network.

Activating and de-activating a high number of different displays located in disparate locations from one control room, allows resources to be centralised, whilst display times and content can be managed. Power and screen-life savings can be made through scheduled switch on/off, and the system also assists security by providing real-time monitoring of assets.

The flexibility of the system has attracted a wide range of users, from schools and universities using video projectors in the classroom and lecture theatres, to corporate users who find the ability to select and display a variety of video images to plasma panels, PCs and projectors at the same time, extremely valuable in training and educating staff on new products, services and corporate policies. Retailers with multiple outlets gain significantly by controlling and sending images from a central control room to multiple Point of Sale (POS) screens located across the globe.

Each system can be tailor-made to meet the unique requirements of clients and is backed by Smart-eÕs worldwide technical support and proven track record in designing and building high quality audio and video distribution and switching equipment.
