Asheridge Cables, Connectors and Components for HDTV and Home Networking Take Centre Stage (13/12/2005)

Stand D58b, ISE 2006

Asheridge Communications, the specialist provider of audio visual and home networking solutions, will showcase its recently launched PureLink(tm) range of high-definition television (HDTV) display and distribution components, the Hellermann Tyton Home Network Sciences' solution together with its extensive range of specialist cables and connectors on Stand D58b at ISE.

Ideal for retail, commercial and multi-room residential applications, the PureLink range allows high-definition pictures to be displayed on multiple HDTVs from just one source, with no loss of image quality or integrity. Asheridge will also show a selection of PureLink fibre optic cable systems capable of extending an HDTV signal for display on TV's up to 1,500m away from the source. Visitors can see how these systems are designed for use with PureLink DVI Distribution Link Amplifiers to achieve maximum benefit.

Asheridge will also feature its Hellermann Tyton 'Home Network Sciences' solution for quick and easy system integration. The system provides a full networking infrastructure to support home communications and entertainment equipment. Further details and product demonstrations will be available on Stand D58b.

Visitors to the stand can also see the connectors and cables which make up Asheridge's Sidewinder no-solder a/v cabling solution. Only Asheridge offers the full 'connectorisation' solution for ease of specification and installation, with male and female versions of F type, RCA/Phono, MCX, and BNC connectors. Cable types on show include CAT5E, coaxial, A1 16/2 and 16/4, and CT100 foam filled examples.
