LG Electronics Adds the LHRH7506TA 160GB Hard Disc Drive Recorder to its Home Cinema System Range (23/11/2005)

LG Electronics, Digital Media Company, one of the largest suppliers of home cinema systems in the world introduces the latest addition to its unrivalled home cinema system range, the 160 GB HDD (hard disc drive), the LHRH7506TA to the UK.

The system's 160 GB Hard Disk Drive capacity will be one of the largest currently available on the UK market and with a Double Layer DVD recorder, storing and recording your favourite films and TV programmes has never been easier. The 160 GB Hard Disk Drive allows users to record up to 220 hours of TV, directly onto the hard drive, which can then be transferred onto a DVD using either DVD-R/DVD-RW discs or DVD+R/DVD+RW discs.

The Home Cinema System will allow live TV to be paused and played back, perfect if you get interrupted by the phone during your favourite programme, plus previously recorded material on the hard drive can be watched whilst simultaneously recording either on the hard drive or on the DVD disc; all-in-all giving the viewer much more flexibility on deciding what to watch and when.

The easy to set-up four tall boy speakers and one centre speaker are powered by a Full Digital Amplifier that features LG's exclusive XTS-Pro sound improvement algorithm, a technology that creates a perfect balance between the low and high sound frequencies. The XTS-Pro system transmits CD, DVD and other media-stored sound sources to its five speakers as optimised signals, removing signal distortion, which occurs as speakers create sound. The receiver delivers an impressive 100W x 5 to the speakers with a 200W subwoofer.

The Home Cinema System can be controlled by one remote and tuned into other TVs, to operate channel changes and volume control.

As well as featuring a SCART connection the LG home cinema system also features the new HDMI connection making it simple and easy to provide a digital picture and sound to the latest generation of plasma and LCD televisions.
