LG Electronics Introduces PY2 Plasma TV (23/11/2005)

- The most stylish plasma TV that provides the ultimate fun to the consumers

LG Electronics (CEO: S.S.Kim/ 06657.KS) proudly introduces its most stylish plasma TV, the PY2 series, to the European market. The eye-pleasing PY2 series is one of the most prestigious Plasma TVs in the market which boasts amazing design, realistic picture quality and various convenient functions.

Featuring the world's leading contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and HD ready technology, the 50" PY2 produces outstanding picture quality. With a built-in subwoofer and SRS trusurround, delivering the home cinema experience in one solution became a closer reality for the consumer.

The 50PY2 has put ergonomics into practice by providing features such as X-Studio and a swivel stand allowing the user to move the TV with ease to provide a viewing angle greater than 180 degrees.

The eye-grabbing design differentiates PY2 from the very first glance. Its gloss black color and clever design, that perfectly hides the powerful speakers, has already been acknowledged with design awards such as the IF design award and Red Dot Design award.

LGE's picture enhancement chip, XD-Engine, makes full use of the large screens by treating unstable analog signals to realize crystal clear and vibrant pictures.

Functions such as X-Studio offers true joy to the consumers. X-studio allows users to easily enjoy digital photos or MP3 music on the large HD TV by simply inserting a memory card in LG Electronics' 9-in-2 card slot, which supports 9 different memory cards with just 2 slots.
