Systemline introduce the ARC7, an elegant, user-friendly, luxury remote control (4/11/2005)

Armour Home Electronics is pleased to announce the launch of the Systemline ARC7, a luxury learning remote control, truly in keeping with sophisticated European tastes.

Steve Privett, Armour Home Electronics' Technical Director explains: "Most remote controls are aimed primarily at the North American market and frankly, they seem to like things rather big and flashy over there. Even, dare I suggest it, over complicated."

He continued, "The ARC7, on the other hand, has been designed and engineered entirely in the UK, to be the remote control everyone will want on their coffee table. The words 'elegant' and 'remote control' don't normally go together, but the ARC7 boasts a beautiful machined aluminium case, an ergonomic button array, outstanding finish and stunning good looks."

But of course, good looks aren't everything, the ARC7 is also supremely sophisticated in use because it's so simple to both programme and operate. The ARC7 will appeal to the clear majority of consumers who are happier with a 'hard button' handset, rather than the constantly changing display of a 'touch screen' device. Controlling up to seven separate pieces of equipment, it is the ideal infrared handset for nearly every hi-fi or home cinema system.
