HomeLogic Delivers Home Theater Control with its OneHome Theater Solution (21/10/2005)

HomeLogic, LLC, the leading manufacturer of IP-based integrated solutions, announced today the release of the OneHome(tm) Theater simplified control of home theater and video distribution systems to its broad line of home management and control solutions.

Applying the same award winning integration technologies they pioneered for the automation of leading home subsystems such as security, lighting, and climate control; HomeLogic has created home theater control that will allow custom dealers to integrate leading brands of home theater components into fully integrated, networked homes. Homeowners will be able to access their home theater and video distribution systems from the OneHome in-wall and wireless touch screens or from a Pocket PC. Integrators will be able to connect various new and legacy sources such as DVD, DVR, satellite, and cable TV as well as projection, flat screen and other displays, using either serial or IR-based control.

OneHome Theater features serial control for several supported receivers and video switchers including models from Elan, Integra, B&K and more. IR capability is provided through integration of the Global Cache' product line, enabling the simple integration of legacy components to fully integrated OneHome systems.

"The integration of video entertainment control is a significant addition to the OneHome solution," stated Jim Herman, HomeLogic co-founder. "With our touch-screen video preview feature users can preview and queue up a DVD or VCR source while watching the satellite feed on the plasma. Our software provides dealers with standardized templates which they can easily customize to meet the individual customer's demands."
