News Kinetics Noise Control Offers In-Wall Speaker Wells for Installation of Surround Speakers (13/10/2005) Kinetics Noise Control speaker wells are constructed of a formed polymer housing that combines a sound-blocking barrier material with a spun-woven sound-absorbing blanket. The speaker well prevents noise from traveling throughout the stud cavity and into the adjoining rooms. Kinetics Speaker Wells are currently available in two sizes designed to nest in a 16" stud cavity prior to or after drywall installation.
