Tritium's Flatenna WLAN Antenna Doubles WiFi Range for 10 Euro (13/10/2005)

The Flatenna, an accessory for doubling the range of your WiFi network, has now broken through the 10 Euro price barrier. The Flatenna can be easily assembled in a minute. The Flatenna, vaguely resembling a Klingon space ship, can be used with any indoor WiFi or WLAN equipment which has an external stub antenna. The Flatenna just clips on your existing antenna more than doubling the range of a connection. By using two Flatennae, one at each end, it's possible to achieve five times the range under the right conditions.
