News Vantage Controls Develops the InterPoint Wireless Communication Tool (3/10/2005) At CEDIA Expo 2005 Vantage Controls will unveil the innovative and patent-pending InterPoint, a wireless communication device. This will be the first version that will specifically control Somfy RTS motors wirelessly. InterPoint will make it possible for any radio-enabled third party device to be programmed and controlled by Vantage's InFusion Controller. Now garage door openers, key fobs, motors or any radio-enabled device can be integrated easily into the Vantage system. "Lighting control has, and always will be, our main focus at Vantage," said Ron Wilson, Vantage CEO. "We do, however want to respond to our dealers' needs, and they're looking for a complete home automation solution, and we believe that InterPoint is a step toward that solution."
