Crestron's Isys i/O WiFi TPMC-10 Now Doubles as a Secure Wall Mount Touchpanel

Crestron introduces the latest innovative design for wireless touchpanel docking stations at CEDIA booth #170. The Wall Mount Docking Station allows the Isys i/O WiFi TPMC-10 to operate as a secure wall mount touchpanel while charging its built-in battery.

Crestron's new optional docking station for the Isys i/O WiFi is recessed in the wall turning the TPMC-10 into a fully functional wall mount touchpanel while charging in the docking station. A green LED indicates that the Isys i/O WiFi is properly docked and charging. A motorized latch secures the Isys i/O WiFi in the docking station; the latch is released either by pressing the ENTER button or, for added security, entering a numeric pass code on the keypad. Buttons are programmable for custom functionality using SIMPL(tm) Windows(r) software.

The 10.4" Isys i/O TPMC-10 is an 802.11g compatible touchpanel with an embedded PC platform, allowing users to access the Web via Internet Explorer, view streaming media with Windows Media(r) Player 10, manage e-mail, and access PCs via Remote Desktop in a secure locked down environment. Popular file formats such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint(r), and Adobe(r) Acrobat(r) are also viewable - all while providing easy control of AV distribution, lighting, climate control and security. TPMC-10 delivers high-quality audio through its integrated tuned-port speaker system, microphone, and stereo headphone output to support mobile entertainment. No external PCs or software are required.
