MAX introduces a new range of racks and enclosures (15/9/2005)

THE MAX has added a range of quality steel-framed 19" racks to its product list. These include free-standing and wall-mounted versions at depths of 600mm and 800mm as well as open-framed racks 550mm deep and 550mm wide for ease of access to installed equipment.

Chris Metalle at THE MAX said: "We recognised a while ago that installers who wanted to include racking systems were severely limited in the choices available in the market. This is a growth area as more and more professional installers appreciate the advantages racks and enclosures give them if they need to return to site for maintenance or swap-outs. That's why we hunted out a supplier who could offer the quality and value we felt we needed to give our dealers."

The range from THE MAX comes in black or light grey, ready-assembled or flat pack at a small additional charge if required and includes all the necessary features one would expect Ð high quality steel frame, front panel with glass door, lockable side panels, vented roof panel, casters and a quick access rear panel. Of course, there are also plenty of additional accessories to finish the racking just the way you want including roof fan trays, vented doors, power distribution units and many more.

"We are constantly on the look-out for products that will make a difference to installers" says Chris "either because they offer something truly innovative or because they offer exceptional value. When we spotted these racks we knew our customers would be interested in the value they offered."
