Highland Audio Introduces the Satellite Aingel Pack Home Theater System at IFA Berlin (26/8/2005)

Highland Audio is a French brand of acoustic speakers. Combining excellent musicality, a light and elegant design and an unbeatable price for value, the first line of the brand, named Aingel ("Angel" in Celtic, because of the Brittany origins of its designers) has met a real success over the last few months. The second range of the brand, called Oran ("Song" in Gaelic), has been released in last July and the first months of marketing are really promising.

Highland Audio is today introducing at IFA Berlin its first satellite systemÉ Called Aingel 1202, the satellite speakers that will compose the system will be reinforced by a new sub, called Dord 165.

Once again, Highland Audio comes up with a new Home Theater system. The French manufacturer introduces a pure surround system, combination of Aingel 1202 speakers and Dord 165 subwoofer.

The new Aingel 1202 model has been developed following Highlands' requirements in terms of sound quality. Those tiny speakers use the same "d'Appolito" architecture than the 3203 or 3205: as a result, a 3dimentional sound that will fully fill the audition room space.

Despite of its micro dimensions, this bass reflex type satellite speaker reproduces deep bass, thanks to quality woofers, which cone is made up of metal-ceramic alloy and oversized neodyme magnet. The trebles are precise and clear, without any metallic effect, thanks to the quality Highland titanium dome tweeter.

To complete this Aingel system, Highland Audio has developed a new Dord subwoofer. Smaller than the existing one, the new Dord 165 has been perfectly tuned to complete the Aingel 1202 and create a harmonious 5.1 system.

Delivered with a nice ball bracket, the Aingel 1202 will easily hang on the walls of the smallest Home Theater rooms.

This new system will be in live demonstration during IFA Berlin.
