DWIN Electronics Ships TransVision 4 High Definition Video Projector with Native-Rate Outboard Digital Video Processor (26/8/2005)

DWIN Electronics, Inc. today announced is has begun shipping its new TransVision 4(tm) high definition front video projector system.

The projector will be demonstrated at DWIN's exhibit at CEDIA 2005 booth SR-4.

Based on Texas Instruments DarkChip(tm) 2 720p DLP(r) technology, the TransVision 4 is the first home theater video projector in its class to include a native-rate outboard digital video processor for true custom installation flexibility and system convenience. Suggested retail value for the system is $6,495.

Like all DWIN displays, the new TransVision(tm)4 provides true high definition video and stunning film-like images with superior detail, brightness, contrast and vibrant colors. Exceptional movie theater realism is achieved with DWIN's acclaimed video signal processing. Deep black levels and natural color reproduction are secured with precision gray scale settings and gamma selections; motion artifacts are reduced with Adaptive Film Mode processing; and picture depth is increased with Signal Dynamic Range expansion.

The TransVision(tm)4's Carl-Zeiss(tm) zoom lens offers precision optics to maintain image quality onto the screen. And a 250 watt lamp creates bright, larger-than-life images.

The system is virtually future proof, accepting 10 video inputs including 2 DVI-HDCP, 2 RGB, 2 S-video 2 component, and 2 composite. Six inputs are high definition capable. All inputs, including DVI, can be controlled and adjusted and have two memory settings to recall picture setups.

DWIN projectors are unique because all video sources connect to a dedicated digital video processor rather than the projector; only a single, all-digital video cable is required. Multiple video source cables remain hidden with video gear, so projector installation is faster and system control is more convenient.
