Just Visionary - A+K Home and Vidikron introduce new Vision Models projectors (23/8/2005)

Highest performance HD images, installation flexibility and amazing new price points are just three reasons to sit up and take notice of the two latest additions to the unsurpassed range of Vidikron projectors. The Vision Models 30 and 50 are set to become two key Vidikron family members bringing with them high definition DLP(TM) Technology along with Advanced Vidikron Imagix(TM) digital video processing to achieve improved image quality even from standard video source.

Both models feature next generation 1280 x 720 native resolution DLP(TM) light engines. Lamp life preservation and installation flexibility are achieved through Vidikron's unique DualV Stage Illumination [DVSI(TM)] system providing for two selectable lamp intensity levels. This technology also manages ambient light level conditions which can sometimes be present in today's complexity of Home Cinema environments.

The Vision Model 30 [Standard Throw] and the 30ET [Extended Throw] use Vidikron's proprietary Imagix(TM) processing technology, consequently producing the brightest, sharpest HD images poised to exceed anything previously available in this market subdivision. With throw distances of 1.38-1.80:1 for the Vision 30 and 1.88-2.45:1 on the longer throw Vision 30ET both projectors offer outstanding performance and install versatility.

The Vision Model 50 offers enhanced contrast ratios and dynamic range with the inclusion of Vidikron's exclusive V2 Aperture Control and electronically controlled iris system. The model also boasts power zoom and focus controls, comprehensive electronic lens shift and a generous operating throw distance range of 1.82:1-2.42:1. In addition the Vision Model 50 offers expanded installation flexibility when compared to single chip projectors costing far more.

Both models are engineered to maximise the Imaging Science Foundation(TM) [ISF] standards for proper setup and calibration so that the very best Home Cinema image quality is achievable. Both new additions also boast newly refined lamp-cooling systems which assist to increase total system operating efficiency with reduced noise levels, even though these stunning new projectors really have something to shout about.
