U.S. Robotics Expands Gigabit Ethernet Product Line (23/8/2005)

U.S. Robotics, a leader in network access, delivering the highest quality and most innovative products available, announced additions to its Gigabit Ethernet product range today.

U.S. Robotics' Gigabit Ethernet products bring the benefits of the next generation of Ethernet connectivity within reach of technology savvy home and business users. These high-performance products deliver the speeds needed to distribute the largest files around a network at an unprecedented value.

U.S. Robotics is adding three additional products to the range:

Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Ethernet CardBus NIC (USR997903): This 32-bit NIC allows any CardBus-equipped PC to connect to an Ethernet network.

Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Ethernet 64-bit PCI Server NIC (USR997904): This 64-bit PCI connector provides superior performance in desktop and server gigabit networking, while supporting flexible Ethernet connectivity, auto-speed detection, auto-switching capabilities, and Wake-on-LAN support.

Gigabit Ethernet 16-Port 10/100/1000 Unmanaged Switch (USR997932): This switch brings the speeds needed to distribute large files across a network to savvy home and small business users looking for a mid-level switch at an unprecedented value. (Available mid-September)

U.S. Robotics' Gigabit Ethernet product family also includes the Gigabit Ethernet PCI NIC (USR997902), an 8-Port Desktop Switch (USR997930) and a 24-Port Rack-mount Switch (USR997931).
