TCI Screens and Supports at CEDIA Show (29/7/2005)

TCI Meet Existing and New Dealers at the CEDIA Show

Promoting the opportunity for dealers and installers to add value to their top line sales and bottom line profits, TCI exhibited at the CEDIA Show for the first time. Their wide range of projection screens, audio-visual furniture and projector mounts, are all very suitable for home use and were displayed to dealers form the Home Cinema / Audio Visual sectors.

Shown for the first time and launched at the show was a complete new range of screens support brackets making the installation of a projection screen even easier. Also, two new methods of concealing a projector above a ceiling, particularly useful in home cinema situations.

The new Projector Reflector system is particularly ingenious. The projector itself is mounted above the ceiling and the image directed onto the screen via a clever system of mirrors. Meanwhile, the Projector Elevator system is ideal for use in applications with suspended ceiling or where an obstacle such as a beam on the ceiling would otherwise obstruct a standard ceiling mount.

A number of new widescreen versions of existing projection screens were also introduced at the exhibition. These include 16:9 ratio models of TCI's standard electric screens, framed screens for front projection and the stylish Base portable screens.

Commented Tony Cochrane, MD of TCI, 'We were very pleased to meet both existing and many new dealers at the CEDIA show. It was good to talk with people who have a sound technical understanding and so appreciated the easy installation of our products and our competitive net trade prices.

Full literature featuring the new items is available free of charge to dealers.
