Vity Announces MINIMONO controller for automation systems (29/7/2005)

VITY launches in September MINIMONO, a new controller for automation systems in corporate or home environment. Linked to Vity touch panels, it can control many AV and automation devices. It is the ideal controller for small home theaters and boardrooms. It provides 6 IR outputs, 2 RS232 ports, 4 relays, 4 GPI inputs, 2 IR inputs and 1 X 10 port, all this, for an attractive price. It connects to VITY touch panels via RS 485 bus (Minimono/485) or via TCP/IP network and includes a built-in web server for easy address changing when connecting to existing LAN networks (Minimono/IP).

For example, you can couple a 3.5 inches LCD color touch panel TAC VIMATY35 and a MINIMONO/485 and you have a complete automation solution for a retail cost under €1500.

TAC VIMATY 70

It is a 7 inches color LCD touch panel available in 2 models: Desktop or Inwall

It uses infrared communication modes, RS232 and RS485 bidirectionnal. You will be able to control directly devices operating in IR such as DVD players, VHSs, LCD screens, Xantech interfaces.

The TAC PADMATY 20 can also control devices directly by the RS232 link (scaler, videoprojector, matrix). By this link, devices can return information to the PADMATY.

The RS 485 port will enable you to communicate with more complex systems through VITY controllers: Multicustom, Monopro or Mini mono of automation system, for the driving of more complex automation system such as lights, heating, air-conditionned,

An other model is available with EIB communication port to control EIB products like Hager, Legrand, etc.

The TAC VIMATY 70 also has an infrared receiver for the training and transfer of codes as well as a proximity sensor.It also has a sleeping and a presence detection mode.
