Middle Atlantic Products Beats the Heat with Wide Variety of Thermal Management Solutions at CEDIA (4/7/2005)

CEDIA UK Expo 2005

Highlighting the necessity of keeping equipment cool to ensure system reliability, Middle Atlantic Products is demonstrating its comprehensive range of thermal management solutions at CEDIA 2005. Understanding that there are different approaches to thermal management, the company offers enclosures and accessories to allow installers to ventilate professional racking systems with either active or passive thermal management, which employs fans or relies on natural airflow, respectively.

On exhibit are Quiet Fan Panels, whose 119mm quiet running fans are optimal for media rooms, home theatres and any environment where people are in the same room as the professional racking system. Also on display are Fan Panels ideal for installation in vertical enclosures located in basements and closets, available with one, two or three 119mm, 220-volt fans to ensure system reliability.

Selectively vented rear doors will be demonstrated and feature two strategically placed laser knockouts at the top and bottom, accommodating optional filter or vent kits for passive thermal management. The rear doors ship standard, at no extra charge, on Middle Atlantic Products' leading-edge line of welded vertical cabinets, further simplifying the ordering process.

A full range of 119mm and 254mm, 220-volt fans, fan guards and top options allow installers to configure vertical enclosures for the specific active thermal management requirements of the system being installed.
