Marata Vision offers Integrated Systems at CEDIA Expo 2005 (4/7/2005)

Systems Integration is the buzz phrase for custom installers and many manufacturers this year. The Marata approach to the market at this year's Expo is Integrated Systems.

Marata have brought together selected products from leading manufacturers including Sharp, JVC, iLight, Vutec and Aquavision and are able to offer complete Integrated Systems for a single room home cinema or whole-house integration based on iLight's ZEN and i-CAN Intelligent Lighting Controllers.

"iLight's lighting controllers can offer so much more than just dimming" says Marata Vision's MD, Bob Wheeler. "Seamless integration with multi-room AV systems; with home cinema equipment; or to control motorised curtains and blinds are all so simple to provide yet the value-add opportunity is often missed by many custom installers".

Marata's stand at Expo demonstrates integration of lighting with motorised curtail tracks, a range AV equipment including projectors, screens, lifts and even with Vutec's ArtScreen, a picture frame where the canvas rolls up to reveal a plasma screen underneath.

iLight's Zen dimmer provide low cost 4 and 6-channel dimming solutions for a single room but when integrated with a home cinema system the value of the Integrated System to the client is far greater than the sum of the parts.
