The new JVC DLA-HX2E Projector contains unique JVC technology with three reflective, 1.1-megapixel WXGA-plus 16:9 D-ILA chips for smooth, flicker-free, high resolution images. This results in cinema-like screen pictures without any visible pixels or line structure.

The natural colour reproduction of the DLA-HX2E Projector is derived from the combination of JVC's exclusive analogue gradation technology, giving accurate colour gradations in areas of low brightness; a high contrast ratio of 1500:1 giving high quality pictures in even the darkest of scenes and a 4-colour profile mode to ensure colour reproduction close to the original.

The superiority of 3-chip projectors, like the new JVC DLA-HX2E Projector, produces more stable, flicker-free images. The 3-chip technology simultaneously produces images on separate RGB panels inside the projector and then re-combines the three light beams to project a true, full colour image which is totally free of visual artefacts.

An HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) decoder is built in to the JVC DLA-HX2E Projector to allow the highest quality digital-to-digital signals to be projected without any of the image degradation caused by conversion in and out of the analogue domain. This is combined with JVC's original DIST (Digital Image Scaling Technology) to deliver high performance projection.
