Available now from at cinemateq: The CT-50 HD with a screen size of 50" (127cm), resolution of 1366x768, contrast ratio of 3000:1 and fully optimized with cinemateq`s proprietary technology. Fully compatible with European 50Hz and 60Hz AC line frequencies and developed for bandwidth input for HDTV 720p/1080p for future picture standards adding color richness and picture depth.

Both digital and analog interfaces allow for versatile possibilities of connections and excellent picture functions as well as future upgrades which guarantee access into the high resolution picture-world.

In the following the highlights of the CT-50 HD at a glance:

* Modular structure

The concept of the cinemateq flatscreen CT-50 HD is its modular design. The separate Plasma panel is addressed by our external control box, the cinemateq picture optimizer plus II SDI. This concept connects via a single DVI-cable, which guarantees an efficient high end solution without additional cables. One cable to the plasma means a clean installation.

* Large class: 50Îâ and WideXGA

Only large and high-resolution displays are HDTV future reliable. With 1366x768 pixels the CT-50 HD can easily display the HDTV format 720p and the XXL screen size of 50ä (127 centimetres) guarantees a tremendous cinema feeling at home with breath-taking sharpness thanks to HDTV.

* HDTV input box with HDMI interface in preparation

With the HDTV input box (available end of 2005) HDTV becomes reality into the living room. This extra module is managed by the picture optimizer plus II SDI control box and supports the future-reliable standard of HDMI interface. All SDTV and HDTV signals from 576p to 1080p are HDCP compatible.

* Control box for up to 8 sources

The design of the CT-50 HD is based on the technology of the legendary picture optimizer plus II SDI. This control box manages six analogue and two SDI inputs with individually assigned control for all picture parameters. Beside the usual picture-sources such as Scart RGB, YUV, S-Video and Scart FBAS (YUV in the U.S. version), two digital sources can be connected via SDI with perfect video transfer and processed via DVI in HDTV resolution.

* Digital High End Cinema with 3000:1 contrast ratio

Rich colours, extraordinary picture depth and dynamics in dark scenes with breath-taking sharpness and film resolution: The picture appearance of the CT-50 HD in the high end home cinema environment is satisfied with convincing black contrast.
